HELLO NOVEMBER

So I'm here with V's Sweet Ideas November Challenge.

PLEASE READ
But, first I want to send blessings and prays out to the families that were effected by Hurricane Sandy. Stay strong and continue to pray. My family is ok we are currently dealing with some household issues, but we are safe and our home is still standing. If you know any fellow crafts that have lost their crafting supplies during Sandy, please let me know. I would love to donate something to them. Its not much and I'm sure they have a ton of other things to deal with, but I know if it was me I would appreciate it. I couldn't image not being able to do something I'm so passionate about. Please email me at sweetdesignzz@yahoo.com with any information.

Now back to the CHALLENGE
This challenge was a ton of fun because I had a chance to work with some really cute digi images from Deasy Designs .
Check out their store, there images are too cute and they have a Nov coupon code going on now.

Some Odd Girl is having a guest DT call

Hellooooooooo
I found out some amazing news on Monday.
Drum roll please..........
........................................................
.................................................................................
................................................................................................
Some Odd Girl is having a mini DT call and a guest DT call.
YAY
Now I'm sure they are going to get a ton of applications, but I have to be confidant in the talents and abilities that I have been blessed with and my love for stamping and Some Odd Girl products. Therefore I'm applying for both.

I would make a great guest DT member because I have finally embrace the Odd Girl in me. I have to be honest I've always when bursting with creativity, a bubbly personality, and smiles. In high school is came out in the form of musical theater and after college it came out in the form of paper crafting. Now don't get me wrong my family and close friends have ALWAYS supported my craft, but I often thought I was different because of my likes and interests didn't often match the people around me.
I've always loved being creative, but it took a while for me say that I'm just some odd girl and that's OK.
Once I did that I found a ton of amazing crafters that I talk to, learn from and have bonded with.
And when my passion for this craft grew, so did my skills.
So I feel that I'd make an awesome Guest DT/DT member for Some Odd Girl

Now here are my project's using Some Old Girl digi stamps.
All images are colored with Copic markers.

Hope you like what you see.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to follow your dreams and passions.

V's celebration challenge

Hello and TGIF (post from my iPhone)

I'd like to share a card I creation for the V's sweet ideas special week challenge.

The challenge was to create a celebration card. So I whipped this gate fold card together featuring a La La Land stamp colored with Copic markers and some twine I bought from V's sweet idea shop. She has a great deal on a mix twine package. I also used Sizzix dies (hearts) and nestabling ( from want 2 scrap) With the Olympics right around the corner (GO Team USA) I thought red, blue, and white would be perfect for this card and a pop of pink bling.

Go check it out and also check out the cards from the DT and get inspired to create. The challenge ends on Sunday.

Hey, I hope your all having a great week. I wanted to share my first explosion box I created in honor of my lil Kay's 4th birthday last week.

I got the Explosion box idea from Charming Custom Crafts, she has a great tutorial on YT. I had a blast making this box for my daughters Hello Kitty themed birthday party. I just added some random things into the box like an image she colored and a cute pictures of her, and hello kitty cause I didn't want to the box to be all pictures. She loved it.

Project Details: Hello Kitty Pattern Paper, Cardstock, Die cut letters , numbers & flower (Die cut machine: Slice), hello kitty die cut (Cricut) foam crayon ( www.zibbet.com/MamiTurtlesEmbellies), embllishments : stickles, thickers, bling mesh, digital image (greeting farm), colored with color pencils by Kayla (3yrs old when colored that image), lace, flower (dollar tree)
