Its Nicole here with a fun holiday project for the whole family join in on or just the kids if you choose. Last year we stated the tradition of creating a Wist List mini book. My daughter would sit with all the current toy magazines and cut out the toys she wants for Christmas. Then we would create a mini album and glue all the pictures inside the book. She would then decorate the front and back of her book with crafty supplies and a little help from me. Each member of the family can create a wish list mini book. Our wish list mini books are stored in that years December Daily.

Below are photos of this years wish list mini book featuring Sweater Kaylee. Colored by my 6 year old daughter. I also used Some Odd Girl twine and hexagon wood veneers.

Quick Instructions (photo tutorial is posted on the Some Odd Girl blog)
1- Pick out 3 12 x 12 card-stock papers.
2- Cut each paper down to 7 x 12 (you can change the size to fit your crafty needs).
3- Fold each sheet in half.
4- Lay paper 1 on your craft table.
5- Adhere side 2a to 1a.
6- Then adhere side 3a to 2b and side 3b to 1b.
7- Decorate the front and back cover of your mini book (Design side 1a is your front cover and design size 1b is your back cover).

Tip: Have much family member color a stamped image in their wish list mini book, so you can view their color progress over the year.
